This is a business development role with an established company seeking to expand our geographic footprint. The job responsibilities are straightforward: to expand our client base in the region using effective strategic and tactical efforts. You will be responsible for devising and implementing a targeted sales and marketing strategy for your region. You will develop new leads, qualify opportunities, facilitate proposal generation, and work in a consultative manner to address and overcome any obstacles to close the sale.

Candidates should be enthusiastic, self-motivated, enjoy working in a team environment and have an interest in automotive, aerospace and B2B manufacturing.  Applicants must be able to interact well with clients during all phases of the system integration process and have highly developed business and negotiation skills and adapt quickly to change.

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good organization and time management abilities
  • Ability to present complex information in a clear, concise and compelling manner
  • High degree of self-motivation and persistence
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with prospects and customers
  • Two years of experience in consultative sales
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to generate leads and close sales
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time
  • Track record of success meeting targets and growing a client base
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Dynamics (or equivalent CRM).

The following additional skills and experience are a plus:

  • Knowledge of electronics manufacturing testing/quality market is a plus
